Like many others, A&E failed to show up for our appointment today - with no call or explanation.  I contacted them after the appointment window, and they admited that their policy is to try calling the number they have once and then not show up if no one answers.  They had two numbers on file for us, one for my office and one for our home (labeled as such).  So of course, they called my office on a Saturday morning rather than my home, even though the repair call was for a dryer repair at our home.  My HSA warranty now tells me I have the option to never use A&E again, and can instead pick the appliance repair company of my choice, pay their bill, and submit for reimbursement less my $50 deductable.  If this weren't HSA's policy, I would switch warranty companies before ever being forced to use A&E again.  A&E would never survive as a business if it weren't part of Sears and if it didn't received referrals from HSA and other warranty companies.  We've also had bad experience's with A&E in the past, with the company either not showing up for scheduled service, or their technicians failing to repair the problem on the first call on several occasions.  Avoid A&E at all costs!!!!!

A & E has been to my home 4 times for the same problem with my GE front loader washer.   The first service call was December 9th and the 4th was today.  I also had a no show appointment that had been scheduled by the "lead router".  Parts were ordered again today with the next visit scheduled for 1/21.   I am amazed by the incredibly poor customer service and by the fact that even though I have an extended warrantee on my washer which is not quite 2 years old, the "authorized GE service techs" have been unable to fix it!
