Deep indentations after just one night of sleeping on a Simmons pillowtop

Mattresses sales is the used car business of the 1960s and 70s..before protections and lemon laws.
We need a Mattress lemon law in this country.
I bought a premium priced Simmons Beautyrest pillowtop mattress just a few weeks ago. The first night I slept on it (I weigh less than 170 lbs) there was a deep indendation about 6" - unbelieveable! After sleeping on a 40 year old "vacation" bed with a mattress about the thickness of a wafer - where I got out of bed each morning feeling perfectly fine! - I looked forward to the comfort of a new, pricy pillowtop. I then slept on the other side..where there was less of a dent - but still a 3" one. Which says there is something terribly wrong with the contruction of Simmons mattresses.
The Simmons felt great at the store...but then the first night, the trough happened. I thought it was a break in period. But after a week, my back was killing me. The tough takes about 15 minutes to rise back up after getting out of bed...by then, it's too late..it has done it's damage to one's back.
I called the store. They sent an "inspector" - who measured the depth and determined that the mattress was in normal guidelines. He called the store's warranty department who told me they would not, repeat NOT replace the mattress, for which I paid nearly $1400.00! I called the manager of the store who repeated the same thing..played hardball with me now that they had my money.
I called Simmons...they said they'd call the store, but I have no hope of getting this replaced - my only choice is to pay the store a restocking fee of $200 and the price difference and delivery cost for a new mattress.
There is but one choice we cosumers have..file a formal complain with the attorney general of your state, AND with the better business bureau.
Mattress buying was simple 30 years ago - our parents went to a store, bought a mattress, not much choice of them - and everyone slept well for years.
Now, Mattresses cost a fortune, they are made terrribly, and people develop serious back and neck issues. What is wrong with this picture!
