I live in Bridgewater New Jersey.  My roof was done by Penyak  Roofing a few months ago...it is still leaking after they charged me $6000 to fix it. When I called their office I spoke with a woman that basically said it was "my tough luck" that they didnt fix it.  She said that they were too busy to come back to the job they did to correct the faulty workmanship.

Further, she said the roof was NOT guaranteed, even after rain was pouring in far worse than when they started.

The only reason I hired the company was because I saw them in my church bulletin and they were very inexpensive. That was a big mistake.

My house has leaked every day since it has rained and the roof is worse than before I got it replaced. Water is leaking on to my antique furniture which were family pass-downs. Some of the furniture he has ruined is from my now deceased  mama mama and it is very sentimental.

My grandma would have a stroke if she still was alive. That was a family heirloom and a beautiful walnut dining table.


They never came to fix their bad roof. I called them more then 10 times. I just asked them to fix the roof.

Joe Penyak Jr. told me that I was "messing around with he wrong people".  I was very scared of him. He acted like he was part of some kind of "mafia"  and did threaten me.

All I wanted was a good roof and now I have to be scared of this company. Please Avoid them. Very cheap prices bur no good.

    Penyak has reputation not very good I  hear. He runs away from his mistakes.  Home Depot is reliable and is Sears.

    I requested a roof evaluation from Penyak.They scheduled a visit and never showed. It seems to me that they cant effectively communicate within their own organization regarding whether someone was out or not. I reached the woman answering the phone over the course of a few days after the roof was to be evaluated and she couldnt confirm if Joe had even looked at the roof. Even after 4-5 days we had no confirmation on whether the roof had been evaluated. After numerous attempts to clarify whether Joe even evaluated the roof or not, we ended up cancelling their services and scheduled a quote/evaluation from another company. At this point, Joe showed up and was walking the roof. They need to improve internal communication and be more effective at reaching out to the customers. If they cant be effective at knowing whether a roofer has been to a house (typically a simple phone call to Joe) or be effective at canceling an appointment, I question the quality of their work.  In comparison, I was able to reach a second roofer on Monday and they were effective at scheduling and were out within 24 hr to evaluate. Importantly, they contacted me 30 min prior to arriving so that I could arrange to be present.

    they did my roof 10 years ago took down 2 dead chimineys at no extra charge they were quick and clean im looking yo use them again...........

    Horrible mess! Just a horrible and very bad situation attacking this guy personally. Sure his business has a lot of bad feedback so don't do business with them! Attacking him personally seems a little harsh. I would not hire him based off of the reviews and feedback I see all over the internet. It doesn't appear he is getting much business anymore because of this. He lost our possible business that seems fair.

    I'm reading these ridiculous reviews that people have posted. Clearly they seem to have a personal vendetta with this company. I had called them after a storm recently regarding damage to my roof. They were considerate, on time, and extremely helpful. Their work was impeccable and they even called back to make sure I was happy with their service. I would highly recommend Penyak Roofing to anyone. Joe Penyak was a great guy to deal with, and I couldn't be more satisfied.

    I've been calling and calling and can't seem to get an estimate. The owner must not care about his customers. Kevin told me that Joe would be out to do an estimate but that has not happened. I can't get an estimate, how can I give them any work. It sees like everyone is right here.
