This company calls incessantly. As fgar as WE know we have no outstanding debts. I HAVE been the victim of a debt company buying an old debt (25 years old) which went through chapter 13 and was paid off. I can't get a live person and when I try to call the number(s) I get a busy signal.

Any compaints received nationally are forwarded to the Better Business Bureau of South East Florida and the Caribbean for processing. Consumer complaints state that customer service representatives are contacting them by phone and are using inappropriate language and unprofessional behavior in their collection practices. Complaints also indicate that after consumers pay the amount to settle their accounts they are not being credited or they are charged additional amounts. Despite the fact that the company has acceded to at least some customer requests for refunds, it has not addressed the reason its customers seek refunds, namely that the company did not do what it promised to do.

Complaints on this and other sites indicate a pattern of repeated calls at harassing levels, similar to yours, as well as calls attempting to contact other unrelated people, or calls to collect on unowed debts.
You know you don't owe any debts, not even the one you paid off years ago. Beware of fraudulent claims to the contrary, dispute all alleged debts IN WRITING within 30 days of receipt of first letter, sending it certified return receipt requested. Report all violations of state or federal debt collection laws to FTC or your state Attorney General.
File a complaint with FTC for harassing calling, and then contact your state Attorney General for assistance.
