Sending my checks back - Then put me in Foreclosure

I am so stressed, because I tried to work with Bank of America after having some hardships by sending my mortgage checks.  Sometimes I may have been $20-30 short, depending on the escrow, etc.  and they would send my whole check back ($1,859.00).  Last year, I didn't know they sent me about 4 of my checks back, because the mail they sent me I thought was just my monthly statement, so I set them aside.  I had to get in touch with them to reissue those checks, but they would not take them back  Then I sent two checks in May, and they sent one back and said they could not find the other one.  Now -- Guess What?  I'm in foreclosure.  I really need some legal help in finding out what I can do to save my home.  Bank of America does not really work with you.  You can't never get in touch with your Bank of America Advisor, and when you do, they don't know half the questions you ask about foreclosure.
