James Olson of Olson Roofing in Bound Brook, NJ, is not qualified to fix roofing leaks, and, is not qualified to replace roofs, either. I am very sorry we ever called him.
We had a roofing leak. Mr. Olson went up on our roof with a caulk gun. Then, he charged us $150. Then, during the next rain, the same location on our roof leaked. We called him repeatedly and he refused to come back to our home. When we caught him on the phone, he said he would call us but that never happened.
The kicker is that Mr. Olson's business card says: ALL WORK GUARANTEED. But, as we have learned, this was a lie because Mr. Olson will not return to your home. Why?? Cause he knows he can't fix your roof leak. Plus, he has already made his $$.
And, his business card also says: "We'll RIP OFF your roof, Not You." Well, it's rather interesting that his own business card uses the words, RIP OFF. I wish we had sent him away after he handed us his business card with the words RIP OFF on it. And, I also wish I had checked out his roofing references before we even allowed him on our roof to diagnose the problem. What a joke.
Then, after we paid the $150 and were left with the same problem, we checked one of his references and the roofing job he did looked horrible!! This did not surprise us.
Mr. Olson also gives out another business card that says, Olson Contracting. DONT GET RIPPED OFF LIKE WE DID.

Who is not man enough to say who he is. I been in the Roofing business for 37 years have 100's of reference from Judges,police officers,lawyers as well as numerous private home owners. So much for that, and also I always did and always will stand behind my workmanship. Anyone who listen to one side of the story is a fool like the person who made this complaint and did not leave their name or contact info. Please feel free to contact me asap and I will be happy to see you face to face and you can tell me your problem. Olson Roofing will rip off your roof and not you. Could not be more true statement. Anyone who would like any reference's please to call. Then the truth will be known. How dare you try to slander my name and hurt my good reputation.

Just curious if this company is affiliated with this license #? I only ask because a guy using this EXPIRED license # ripped us off, I'm not sure if it might be related to this, or if this company is aware if they are the same??? Please email me LiliumDivine@gmail.com if you have any questions.
There is always two sides to each story. Olson Roofing been in business for 38 years done a lot of roof's in his time and can't please everybody but always tries his best. For everyone 1 person complaint there is hundreds that are very please with his workmanship that he does himself. He is always on the job hand nailing or what ever the problem might be. He does come back if there is a problem and he tries his best to fix what ever the problem is.
