energy saving mode

A few days ago I noticed my Samsung LCD flat screen had a funny looking shape in the middle of my screen while I was watching a program.  I changed channels and the transparent print was still there. I couldn't figure out where it came from until I walked in the room a few days later and seen the Directv energy screen logo on my tv . Apparently this will appear if you don't have any movement on your screen for 4 hours.  Well it appears that logo after staying in that one spot for an extended period of time has burnt an impression on my LCD tv that will not go away.  I contacted customer service and they wouldn't acknowledge that their company had anything to do with it. They said it must be Samsungs fault that this happen to the tv.  I asked if they did any research on this energy saver to make sure it wouldn't cause a perminet outline if left in that mode for and extended period of time.  We apparently it does and they refused to send a tech out to even look at the tv to make sure I wasnt lying about what I was experiencing .  I told them I didn't request this energy saver and thet should of asked it I wanted it before running it through my box. Of course they said I could go in and change the settings but I told them it was a little too late for that.  Now I have a 47 inch LCD tv in. My living room with a picture that shows a transparent Directv energy saver logo in the middle.  I am totally frustrated and don't know what course of action to take.

Any suggestions !!!!!!!!
