Who are these people and why do they keep calling?  They will not respond when greeted, but they keep calling back.  How do I get rid of them?  The telephone number that comes in on my caller-id is 213-430-4297.  The line is always busy when I attempt to call back. What do I do next?

    They keep calling my home 9-10 a day everyday. How do we get them to stop?

    They are telemarketing scammers.  They have the highest number of reports of Do Not Call violations on this site.

    Put your phone number on the Do Not Call list.  If you get illegal telemarketing calls, report them to FTC.

    If you are dealing with scam outfits like this, there are boxes you can get that go between your incoming phone line and your telephones, that can effectively block all autodialed telemarketing calls from ringing through to your phone.  Then you can live in peace until they call enough congressmen to get federal action.

    I am on the do not call list. You have now called my home 4 times today, I do not want your grant scam that you offered on the first call. The last 3 calls there has been no one there when I answer. Stop calling us. This is harassment, and very much unwanted.

    I am on the do not call list. If you can't leave a message on ther answering msachine regarding the reason for your call, I will report you. I've had 3 calls already today and it's onlt 2:30pm. I also received a call last night at 8:57pm. That's too late for any company to be calling someone. If you want a response then leave a message.

    Here’s how I got them to stop:

    1.  I registered for the Do Not Call list.  
    2.  I tried to answer the phone every time they called for about three days.  I let them go through their lines every time, and eventually got this line:  “And what would you like a grant for?  Business, education, or personal use?”  I told him, “There is no such thing as a personal-use grant; so this is a scam.  Do not call me again.”  He apologized, said “Have a nice day” and they haven’t called since.

    If they’re calling about grants, tell them how you know they’re a scam.  If they don't mention the personal-use grants, bring it up yourself.  They're desperate to get you, so they'll likely say that you can get a personal grant.  Then call them out.  If this doesn't work, then report them to the FTC and hope they do something about it.  Good luck, everybody.

    i have had the same problem for days and just filled a complaint with the FCC online.  I encourage more to do the same - it was very easy to file.  http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

    I want to thank Gina for the information on filing a complaint.  I just finished the process.  These people are driving me nuts!  They are interrupting important phone calls and distrubing my sleeping kids during nap times.  They start calling at 8 am and call all day.  I bet they called 15 times yesterday and they've already called 7 times today in less than 2 hours.  This is crazy!  Thanks Gina for the website! Hopefully this will help!

    I keep getting calls from this place also. Have answered a couple of times, only to find out who they are.  No one there.  They called at 9:57PM last night.  I just got another call and answered.....the person on the other end can barely speak English!!  He wanted to know if I wanted a grant to pay bills, buy a house or for personal use.  I told him never to call again and hung up.  I have a feeling this isn't the end of these calls. I will report this company. Thanks for the link gina!!

    I get the same calls...... send a letter to the Federal Trade Commision every other day and tell 5 other people to do the same....the FTC will get sick of the letters a will stop them

    I am so tired of these calls! I don't sleep well at all and they start early in the morning and call late in the night long past the time of business! They are driving me batty with this repetition! I answer and I get no one there and they call  again and again. I just read Gina's post and I am going to report them! Thank you!

    This crazy! They need to quit calling my house. This morning alone, I was called 4 times. 1st time at 8:40am, 2nd time was at 9:43am, 3rd time was 9:52am, and the 4th time was 10:30am. It is only 10:55am, and I am already sick of it. If your going to call leave a message or I wont answer. I am aware this is a scam and if they keep calling my home I will report them.
