holes in clothing

I'm so glad I found this site and all your complaints.  I thought I was going crazy.  My husband just doesn't believe me.  We purchased the Whirlpool washer and dryer 5700 series set in Dec. 2007.  For the last year of so I've noticed holes developing in my clothes - mostly tee shirts.  This past weekend my daughter visited and used my machine and has discovered holes in 3 pairs of her favorite jeans.   Has anyone received satisfaction from Whirlpool.  Is there a solution?
