So here I am waiting on this technician who was supposed to be at my home between 8 and 12 am.   It is now well after 12. No call from the technician, no call from their service department.  But I am still waiting. Do you offer me any discounts, NO.  Do they offer to compensate me for my time. No. There has to be a better way

    A& E is the worst factory service company I have ever encounted in my life!  They cancel appointments without notice and their customer service department is rude and does not care about the customers.  I will never use them again!

    leaving you hanging is not ok.   I work for a company that uses 4 or 9 hour service windows. sometimes a tech can be overbooked to the point where they wont make a service window. the tech is encouraged to call their customers ahead, and let them know of their tardiness. if that isn't acceptable, then the tech should assist in rescheduling that customer. at least thats what i do.... hey stuff happens, thats life, what can you do sometimes.   i'm sorry for you, for what thats worth.

    I am starting a campaign to put this company out of business.  Please send me your email address so you can be contacted to be added to class action complaint to Whirlpool.

    A&E should be sanctioned for the outrageous service.........NO ONE should use this company....it took forever for them to answer the phone.......THEN I waited the whole day and a VERY rude phone Rep (Robert)called and said they had to cancel and I had to wait a WEEK for another appointment......I told him that I had thousands of dollars of medicine in the Ref and it might go bad.......he could care less and said I had to wait.....nothing he could do.......finally I called management and they DID have an appointment the next day.......Robert should be fired.......better yet........Appliance Companies need to get a better service provider

    A and E left me hanging for 5 hours today with no call. I spent 45 minutes on hold with the company in TX, was told that the service man had been here and I was not. I was here all day. Then she said that he called and got no answer. Another lie.  Finally she said that he called the TX office and told her to reschedule.  For two weeks from now.  This is unconscionable, but seems as if it is SOP for this company. How have they stayed in business?

    This company is ran by Sears.  Problem number 1.  Bought a stove from IKEA
    less then a month ago and they referred me to this joke of a company.  Makes me want to hire service techs throughout the us and have them not follow-up and make money off it.  I have now called 6 times to get my new stove taken care of and have been promised that the parts department will follow-up.  To date no one has followed up. Its been over a month.  This company needs to be referred to the attorney generals office with all of the complaints.  Why we let companies like this one in the U.S. is amazing.  We are in a recession and this is the service that they give there clients.

    Worst service I have experienced, ever. Appoitment set at 8:00 to 12:00 and called at 11:15 to say running late, will be there at 12:30. The girl calling said ok let me make you the next stop then, well after another two hours and no service. I called the office number. The man called the technician and he was "on his way and would call me". Still no call from service man, no service man. How do these people stay in business? Better business bureau is the next stop.

    This is beyond the worst company/service in the entire world!  From reading the other stories this is obviously the way this company runs their business.  They know we are in need of their service and quite obviously do not care how the customers are treated!  I had the 8-12 window and now after I called them twice (not one call from them) a tech should be here before 5!!! Really, people do have jobs!

    I am having problems with A.&E. since last Friday with getting a clothes Dryer  fixed. No One has shown up as of yet.

    Techs from A & E are always over booked believe me they don't want to show up at 6 pm when they live an hour from the last job and are supposed to be off by 4:30pm but that's what the company does to them, and they have routers that are supposed to call the customer when they are late but they don't always do and blame it on the tech...
