Bunch of liars.
Any "debts" are fake.
All threats are fake.
File complaints with FBI.
They are commonly used by overseas scams, since they provide cheap phone service with the ability to pop up in the U.S. under various area codes.
Customers can set their caller id name, but many scammers don't even bother. You can't trust caller id.
Indian fake "payday debt collector" scams often get information from fake "payday loan" website applications.
They may also have gotten access to credit reports.
The "debts" are fake.
Everything they say is a lie.
They aren't "investigators", "attorneys", "officers", or any law enforcement, and they can't "sue", or "arrest" you.
All they can do is harass and threaten.
They often use Vitelity for these scam calls, since VoIP is cheap phone service that can appear to be from a U.S. area code. File harassment complaints with Vitelity.
I also had to check into my credit situation to make sure that they had not done anything to tarnish my history with any of my creditors. I did though go to a man I know that goes after harrassing debt collectors and has won. He is very good at what he does and makes sure that you are entitled to everything that is owed. We are victims here and we cannot be taken advantage of like this. It had me so stressed out that I would be missing calls from people because I was having to shut off my phone! No one should have to live like this.
Here is the info. Let him help you make your life a little bit easier like he did mine.

Some have in the past been connected to Indian call centers once used by some shady debt collectors in the Jacksonville FL area, who worked for equally shady payday lenders.
They may be getting identity information via fake "payday loan" application websites, or possibly by pulling credit reports. Or maybe they search the internet for targets, maybe as you suggest finding on-line records of recent property sales.
It's an extortion racket, so it focusses on embarassing and harassing you at work, while they sit safely across the ocean using cheap VoIP services, and repeatedly changing their phone numbers.
This is a criminal scam, regardless of what information they have on your identity. You did NOTHING to cause them to choose to harass you. Any of your coworkers could be similarly harassed. They just found enough information that they think they can con you.
Report it to the FBI, and to your employer.
Also, if you can get their phone number, you can file an extortion and harassment complaint with their phone provider, which would have to have a U.S. presence.
They cannot "sue", "arrest" you, and they are not "attorneys", "prosecutors", or other law enforcement.
