ReputationChanger.com is an UNRELIABLE and ABUSIVE SEO company. Their management team condones rude service and verbally abusive, covert and unprofessional behavior of their support team. ReputationChanger.com Terms of Service is one sided and an evidence in itself. Reputation Repair and Management should be investigated for unethical business practice. They give out covert notices that entail technical changes holding their non-technical clients hostage and demand unreasonable compliance. The company is insensitive to their clients needs and is totally careless. They also dupe their clients into purchasing an affordable package only to make additional changes at the expense of the client. I will not recommend ReputationChanger.com to anyone. Now I can't even get my money back.

They also own the folowing domains: which all have a ton of complaints if you google them.

William N. Meggs Florida State Attorney, the prosecuting attorney said of Rich Gorman:
One of the most important functions of the Office of the State Attorney is to stand up for the victims of crime. It is in that vein that I must respond to a recent commentary by Kathleen Parker regarding the rape conviction of Rich Gorman ("Brief encounter ruined a young man's life," May 4). Parker is the latest victim of Gorman's public-relations campaign, which employs the age-old defense tactic of blaming the victim. She talks about a 30-pound box of court documents that she apparently failed to review, and not once has she called this office for information. Had Parker done so, she would have found that the "regular college Joe" she describes actually ran an escort service and had a thriving computer business. Had Parker done her homework, she would have found that Gorman invited the underage victim to go out in a limousine with four other girls and provided plenty of booze.
He also stopped to pick up a *** and proceeded to a local bar. It was there that the victim became ill and asked to be taken home. Gorman volunteered to take her home but bypassed her dorm and took her to his house. Charged with rape - his second charge in a matter of months - Gorman's "first" story was that nothing happened.
When positive DNA results were returned, his firm denials changed to "it was consensual." Gorman has been successful in convincing a jury of one - Kathleen Parker - of his innocence. He was less successful with a six-person jury, which delivered a unanimous guilty verdict. Thankfully, the jurors considered all the evidence, not just one side.
WILLIAM N. MEGGS Florida State Attorney

    I know Matt Cooke
Matt Cooke is not a crook or scammer he is a great guy and helped me and my clients many times and always was fair and honest. This whole thread is crap and I dont know reputation changer real well but know that they perform a service for the money they collect. I dont know if they are shady but they treated me well on a business transaction 2 years ago and I trust them also. As for the rest IDK and I dont care... But you need to lay off Matt Cooke and his name he is a solid guy and very ethical.

    Dave Freeman
dave.freeman@reputationchanger.com any experience with Dave there? Heard a lot of complaints from companies that engaged and then had to back out due to the work being of very low quality? Perhaps running too many ads and taking on too many customers has become a problem for the reputation changers

I don't think a lot of people understand the general world of online reputation. The field is still a little vague, and you can't blame the the individuals because there is no sure-shot (guaranteed science to this) and these are for the hardest cases. A lot of people in here complaining about people stealing or deceiving individuals and wanting the money back. You have to do your research. Repeat, you have to do your research.

A lot of these companies are credible, and have been in this realm for quite some time (or the lack there of because this specific niche isn't that old ~ or is it?). It hasn't been around for that long, but there are emerging companies that have grown in size and success rates. A company won't accurately share their success rate because what defines success? You are basically against Google's algorithm, Yahoo's and Bing's.

So where do you go for the best service? Really, that's undefined because one approach one company takes is slightly different than the others, so again we won't really know.

Now is this mentioned company in this forum or this employee that supposedly stole money a big sham? In the big picture, no. Once again, you may base your decision on consumer reports, but you don't really know until you have tried. And actually have gone against whichever search engine you are trying to remedy.

So personal contractor, big reputation named company, or even trying it yourself through research, you are going to realize that this is still a developing industry. And we need all this, we need the mistakes, because from the non-successful rise the successful. Especially in this unknown galaxy of reputation online, the search engine only holds the key. So blame them, and maybe blame yourself a little bit before you keep spending the bucks. You technically have to spend, but keep doing your research.

(I've only hired a contractor to do my work, and had little to medium success). Especially during the long run, a lot of my results had regressed. And I do my research, and my homework on this industry, and I know I have to just pick one and not regret my decision.

Not every company will share their success rate, but they definitely mislead with their sales tactics. Many of these companies offer so called "money back guarantees" but if you read the fine print, its a total sham. They only offer money back if they aren't able to rank positive properties in the first three pages. Thats next to useless when a ripoffreport is on the front page and in the first position. That's why I am the only company (That I know of) that is able to offer the first results driven package. We don't get payment until the work is complete. For example, if you need a ripoffreport off the front page, we do the work FIRST, then send the invoice. We assume all the risk up front. There ARE some cases where we do the work for months and the negative stuff stays on the front page and in these instances, we gladly eat up the expenses incurred and the client doesn't pay. We are glad to say that these cases are extremely rare. How much do we charge for our services? A typical RoR / pissedconsumer listing starts at $5000 depending on the age, existing links to it, how much content is on the listing, and many other factors. The best part of is there is no risk to the client. For more information or help regarding your issues (no fees or sales tactics, with our business model there is no need to "convince" someone)  please message me @ kdreputation@gmail.com
