Hi,
I receive at least 2-5 calls/day from Bank of America home loans on my cell phone, each time they ask for a different person, never me.  I've asked each time for them to take my name off their list and they say they will, but it's been months.  HELP, the number they are calling from is 1800-669-0102.

I can make them stop the calls. If they do not stop after I contact them, they will oe you at least $1000 a phone call. I collected $5000 for a single illegal telephone call earlier this year. Stopping the calls in my specialty. Call me at 1-877-283-5619 or e-mail me at harmonlaw@optonline.net if you want me to stop the calls at no charge.

This number calls my phone on average 3-7 times a day. It leaves a blank message.  On occasion that I have anserwed it is silent.  It has been going on for a couple of months now.  It is becoming quite annoying.  i dont know how to make it stop?

So the bottom line is they can call you as much as they want for as long as the loan shows delinquent...and if you have a FHA LOAN, your loan is due on the first ( don't believe me?? Check your contract) of every month. Now eventhough you get a 15 day grace period, that is just a curtousy to avoid late charges. However, collection activity will begin as of the 2nd of the month...because they are not soliciting anything but rather collecting on a secured loan do not call lists will not work. So you have three options to make the calls stop either bring your loan current and always pay by the first of the month, or refinance  your loan to change the due date or you can fax in what is called a Cease and Desist letter...legally the calls have to stop once a cease and desist has been submitted. The only down side is they will not contact you anymore so unless you call them you will not find out any new updates or adjustments to your payments.
