On two occasions I complained to the manager Jonathan Graham that the exercise machines were always broken, and the customer service within the club was poor. It took three requests to have the club staff close the door to the spinning room class. I advised that the spin classroom doors were always open (against company policy) and the that the music emitting from the spin room was way too loud. There was still no change in the way the club allows the spinning room class to operate.
All Mr Graham could do was find excuses for the they way he ran the club. When I asked him for the telephone number for the corporate office so I can complain, he referred me to the company web site which did not have the corporate office telephone number. After I insisted he begrudgingly gave me the telephone number.
I called the corporate office and spoke to customer service agents Kimberly Little (called on 8/22/12) and Nicole ID # 1806750 (called on 9/6/12) who both stated that they would get back to me within a week and never did.
The service from both the local club and corporate office is terrible, unresponsive and unprofessional. The place is dirty and crime ridden.
The crime within the gym is so bad that there are both identifiable and unidentifiable staff stationed with each of the two men's locker rooms to patrol for break ins to lockers.
Many people have asked me about LA Fitness with the intention of joining, and I tell them not to join.
