Unauthorized Anti Virus Charges

DRI Trend Micro has charged a renewal fee to my credit card each year since 2009.  I have been using a different anti virus software since 2009.  The renewal month is December when I always travel for business.  I am embarrassed that I did not catch this until this year.  I called the credit card company and they were able to get the renewal stopped and a credit for 2012.  I called 952-392-2584 and was connected to some other company that apparently is responsible soliciting business for Trend Micro and they refused to credit any of the other years.  This company sends so many e-mails throughout the year I have marked anything with the word Trend as spam.  In addition, my current anti virus software detects DRI Trend renewal notices as a threat.  

My advice is to stay away from Trend Micro.  There are a lot of good anti virus software companies out there that do not use the automatic renewal tactic.
