At 9:56 a.m. on 11/29/16 I received a call from "an investigator" who claimed to be with IRS investigative services. The woman had a heavy
Indian accent and was hard to understand. But she had a "threatening" tone and told me a warrant was out for my arrest for income tax evasion. She said two letters had been sent to me and that I should have received them. She referred to them as CP118 letters. She wanted me to take down some information. So I got a pen and demanded that before the conversation go any further, I wanted her name. She said her name was Sarah Wilson, investigator with the IRS. Then I asked for her supervisors name. She immediately hung up. I waited a couple of minutes and dialed back. A man with similar accent answered, "IRS." I asked to speak with Sarah Wilson. He wanted to know my name.
I told him she would know who I was, just connect me. He declined and then said my name, which I didn't acknowledge. He was still speaking when I hung up. Five minutes later I called the number again: (347) 434-4495 and it rang fast busy. Do not fall victim to this scam.
Challenge everything they say and do not give them any of your personal information. I'm currently on the IRS website printing a form to
report these scammers.

To anyone reading this message, do yourself a favor and block this number without calling them back. Chances are they'll just move to another number once this once gets reported by enough people.
