I received the same call on my company cell phone.  I believe it is some type of scam attempting to gain access to your information or phone number.  I believe they are using the number through some type of VOIP.  I believe the area code is out of Tennesse.  Just forward your complaint to the FCC and or the Attorney General's Office consumer affairs division.

They may be phishing for "authorization" to cram fraudulent charges onto cell phone bills.

23 Mar 2010call, got a message that just said 'travel dollars. to accept press one' ??Reply ! "

Most complaints are for robocalls to cell phones, which is illegal under federal law (TCPA) without prior explicit authorization.

Fraudulent telemarketing phishing scam trying to get consumer bank account numbers through deception.

25 Mar 2010this phone called me today message in spanish saying I just won a thousand dollars press one. I hung up. a while back my husband got the same call but from a different number he pressed one and they told him they needed his bank card number in order to process the winning claim fortunately my husband did not give them the information. this is a scam they want your credit card numbers and who knows what other information don't give it to them."

Probably calling cell numbers at random, in Spanish looking for unsophisticated consumers to defraud.

All the marks of a fraudulent criminal enterprise, with no legitmate commercial product.

The company called my cell phone to inform me that I have been selected and won a vacation.

I was transferred to Fernando to review the details of the "special offer" and basically you are offering a pre-paid vacation.

I had to confirm that I was over the age of 18 and had a credit card to check in to a resort.

In the end there was no free vacation or winning, they wanted me to pre-pay for a vacation $500 US per person that I could use at anytime.
In addition to that they wanted me to tour the resorts and there was a timeshare plug as well.

They call me at least once or twice a year on my cell phone, and one time I gave them general information hoping that a live person would call me back and I could tell them to stop contacting me, however I just received a call today in the early morning. I have received these calls since I was 17 and I am now 20, this company is ridiculous.

same company is now using on their dialer Quebec and the number 519-204-8989 which is actually a real number for a poor unsuspecting hair salon. I took a pic of this so I have proof. the caller id says Quebec, but the number is in Ontario Canada. I called the hair salon to tell them on their voice mail. And I am going to the CRTC because the telemarketer was abusive!
