Don't listen to what they say - make sure you understand

We had plans to update our home and after visiting their store purchased a membership.  Over the next two years we only found two items that were less expensive than what we could get somewhere else but even at that, there was the 6 weeks delivery delay and the shipping costs which they changed (went up significantly).  Looked into the possibility of selling the membership, giving to someone as a gift, willing it to children (which they said was possible) but we are now told it is ours for as long as we pay the annual membership extension fee.  If we decide in the future that we want to use it, we must pay ALL of the back annual fees to be able to use it.  Very unlikely we can save enough to do that.  

STAY AWAY - IT ONLY WORKS FOR A FEW FOLKS.  ONCE YOU ARE IN , YOU ARE IN AND THERE IS NO ECONOMICAL WAY OUT.
