We got Direct TV, which was sold to us through ATT with our phone and internet package. ATT misreprensented the total price and neglected to tell us about the cancellation fees. When I talked to ATT they said they only sell Direct TV packages and I would have to talk to Direct TV. I talked to Direct TV people and complained from day one, installation day and on and off through out the ten months. The installion damaged our roof, siding and plaster in our house. (Day one). Direct TV said I would have to PAY more money if the tech came back out. The bills are much more than I was told by ATT. Direct TV basically said "sucks to be you, we have you for two years and you WILL pay if you try to cancel". The service was horrible. Every time the wind blows or it rains, the service goes out....sometimes even on sunny days. I finally got feed up and called to cancel the service. Even with all the complaints and bad service, they still want to charge at least $300 to cancel service. My credit card company said it will not help to dispute the charge, they have been through this many times. I could get a new credit card but then they would take the money out of my bank account (don't know how they do this without consent but somehow they do it). JUST GOOGLE "COMPLANTS DIRECT TV". There are hundred of "suckers "like me. Tell everyone you know NOT TO GET DIRECT TV. They might get $300 from me but I will spend the next ten years of my life telling everyone I know in person, online, complaint departments etc. and hopefully cost them hundreds of customers. Companies that lie, cheat and defraud customer need to be stopped. Please help the cause.

I can't believe this direct tv is just taking advantage of customers,I just started services this April and have a high bill,I was told a certain amount a month and now owe more,I was never told about rebates that take weeks to get processed,now I'm stuck with a high bill these ppl don't explain things properly plus they want to charge me for channels that were free for 3 months this is bad business.
