After cancelling my subscription and returning the product a month ago, I STILL haven't gotten the amount credited back to my account (about $58) as I was told I would. On top of that, now I'm seeing an additional charge of $9.99 after I cancelled my account over a month ago and was told there would be no further charges. I've called several times with no resolution so now I'm disputing the charges with my bank and will continue to pursue this issue until the money is returned to me.

    You are dealing with a scam.

    Notify your bank that the charges are disputed due to fraud, and close the account to prevent additional fraud.

    I ordered a  "free" sample from Dazzlewhite and $A 15.30 for freight and postage was charged to my debit card on July 21, 2009.
    On August 7, 2009 this entry appeared on my bank statement:
    August 10, 2009 AUTHORISATION ONLY - EFTPOS PURCHASE AT WHITESMILE 888-227-2950 CY for $A71-94
    On August 8, 2009, I rang my bank to stop this payment. I was told that the only way this could be done is to cancel my current debit card and get a new debit card issued. (this will probably incur a $A30 fee for the issued of a new card)
    I now have to advise all the organisations that charge my debit card automatically (eg car insurance, medibank, life insurance etc) of the change of my debit card numbers.
    The authorisation notice disappeared from my bank statement on August 12 but on August 14 the charge for A$71-94 was debited after all. How on earth did this Whitesmile crowd get my new debitcard number?
    I am furious
