I live in Hong Kong.
This is the first time I have booked a ticket on CheapOair.Did it online. Got a booking reference and itinerary. 7 hours later receive a call from a Harvey Brooks saying that my bank would not verify my card as they do not have a merchant bank. We did a conference call...but Bank due to customer protection would not do it on the phone I thought that was understandable, he thought it was ridiculous. He ADVISED me to stop using this bank for credit cards ( a bank I have been using for 24 years). Harvey also gave me a number to call if I can get this problem sorted out.
After getting the bank to agree to verify I called the number 18552927486... Got disconnected immediately.
Called 1again..was on hold for 13 minute.
Called 6467384967... After holding for 12 minutes, finally spoke to 'tan' he kept me on hold for 25 minutes saying that my bank line is busy ( I gave him the number to call, it is never busy for so long, HK is extremely efficient and especially this bank) tan came just once on the line to tell me to hold on. After 25 minutes, I gave up and disconnected. He never called back.
I sent emails to customer care and Harvey brooks to pls confirm if my credit card verification was done and will the ticket be issued? Flight is in 2 days, no replies yet from them.
I called this morning again several times at several different numbers...18666545204...18005250400...12124780335....18666545204...18885926410. All number I have been on hold for 10-15 minutes, with their continuous recording on and no one has attended a single call. This happens after I put the booking number in and confirms it. After that I am on hold continuously.
I do not know what to do next.
I have made the booking, given them all the credit card details...got an itinerary but no e ticket. All I ned to know is have they manage to verify my credit card or not? If not cancel my booking. That's all.
By the way, as I do not live in the US all my called to them are long distant charges. That has turned out far more expensive than the ticket. Will never ever use them again and will spread the word!

    I've been getting calls, both early and late from this company.  Mo betta stick with major dealers.
