On 5/23/2016 at 5:45 p.m. I called American Home Shield to request service because my air conditioning went out. I spoke to Jerry who took all of my information and said she followed through with the request. On 5/24/2016 at 7:30 p.m. I called ahs back because I never received an email of the status and the agent reviewed my information. To start off, my phone number and my email was also entered wrong. The agent from the first day also misspelled "yahoo." So even if a call was made it was never to me. I repeated my information to the second agent and she assured me that everything was in and that she emailed Total Air Care who is based out of Florida and I'm in Georgia and I also gave them a call to let them know what was going on and I never got a respond. It didn't matter what selection I chose it always led me to a voice message. Wednesday I did not receive an email or call from anybody, but I did call ahs for a status update and stayed on the phone up to 15 minutes. Thursday I spoke to an Annette who also reconfirmed my information was in and I told her what happened and she said that a call was made and I told her that it probably was but not to my phone because instead of Jerry typing in 912 she typed in 512. In a nutshell as long as they made a call then there job was done in spite of what the customer's problem is. I ended up paying out of my pocket to get my a/c fixed. What good is it to have home warranty if you still have to pay for your own repairs? I'm not pleased with American Home Shield and thanks for nothing!
