NO-SHOW for washer repair

On september 6,2010 my one year old whirlpool cabrio washer died. I called whirlpool and explained the issues and the code it was giving. They said they would send out a repair guy from A&E between 1&5. by 4:45 i received a call from A&E that they can't make it and will have to reschedule for 2 weeks from now. I asked for a quicker date and they couldn't provide one, so i got back on the phone with whirlpool and she made an appointment for Sept. 8th. I was happy with that. I recieved a confirmation call from A&E on the 7th, well on the 8th i waited all day. I decided to call to see why they haven't come yet and was informed that they can't make it.. AGAIN
I found this very unprofessional and yet again was given another date for service. I finally had to hire a repairman to fix my washer and pay out off my pocket for something that should have been covered under warranty. If you are looking to by appliances do not buy WHIRLPOOL cause there products don't last more than a year and they send A&E for repairs.
Who will not show up.....
