714-660-6229 - Just received an Unwanted, Unrequested and Unsolicited Automated phone call from a man named "Cole" calling from Consumer Advocates Debt Elimination. There was NO OPT-OUT option made available and NO removal request offered. He just kept talking about how "Consumer Advocates" can help with "Debt Elimination". I'm not really sure why the wife and I keep getting these calls, as we don't owe anyone money (other than our home mortgage, which is NOT overdue and is almost paid off - yay!), but they are clearly violating the Federal Do Not Call list, as these AUTOMATED calls are coming in at all hours of Day and Night. According to the FCC and the TCPA - Autodialed Phone Calls with Pre-Recorded Messages are ILLEGAL!

Here is their physical address info and their website info:

I also noticed that a LOT of the Telemarketer Scam phone calls lately are associated with websites that are registered through GoDaddy.com. Seeing as how I know Mr Bob Parsons (who owns GoDaddy.com) personally from years ago, I WILL be contacting him DIRECTLY and requesting him to remove any and all of these sites that are violating the Federal DNC Laws. I also noticed that a lot of them are going through Domains by Proxy, which allows them to hide their info, which is also illegal according to ICANN. Guess it's time to contact the FCC, yet again.

They frankly don't care whether you have any debt or not.  They are just making cheap autodialed calls, hoping to find suckers.  They expect to make a lot of junk calls with no payoff.  It's only the ones they sucker in that count.

File complaints with FTC, and apparently the Arizona Attorney General, since making autodialed recorded message calls without prior permission is now illegal under FTC rules (as of Sept. 1).

Shady or scam "businesses" depend on the services of other legitimate busineses, for telecom, internet, payment processing, advertising, etc.  In some cases, this means that scam activity requires the cooperation of legitimate businesses willing to look the other way.

I am the owner of Consumer Advocates, Inc., located in Yorba Linda California.  I do not use auto dialers, this posting is incorrect.  I operate a legitimate Debt illumination Back End company.  I do not solicit clients directly.   There is a company in Fountain Valley, CA that is using my company name on their auto dialer.  If you talk to them they will give you their real name and phone number.  They claim to be consumer advocates and therefore use that name in their automated message.  I suggest you answer the auto call and talk to them if you want to get to the truth.

You're a lying [***]! If your company name was being used w/o your consent, you'd have sued them by now--and won!  Obviously you're working with them. Liar!

We have received constant unsolicated calls from Consumer Debt Advocates. The automated call gives the option to press #2 to remove your number. This isn't working.  We have spoke to 7 differant people there and they either give a smartass answer or say they will remove the #.  This has been going on for almost a year.  We are on the do not call list.
They claim they are operating under the law.  They are rude and unprofessional when you try to get them to remove your number.  So far the names we have spoke to are, Victor, Domonic, Lisa, Brent Ratfield, Johnny and finally but not least, Randy.  Oops, I fogort Leslie and Brian.  Any good strong sugestions that will work to stop these people?

Constant calls 3 times a day at least and this has been goin on for 4 months, Asked to remove from list they hang up also they call and they hang up immediately! Call the main company and give me a hard time....a 3rd party callcenter is doing this and anytime they call its always a diffent number and area code and cannot call back saying"this phone number is not valid!!!

I haveattempted legal action since i'm on the do not call list but awaiting them to change. E-mail me at KJD1351@comcast.net if this is going on with you.
