Jet Direct Funding contacted me a year ago with an offer to help in a loan modification.  The person was very professional and convincing.  The big selling point was that if they couldn't obtain the modification all but $500 of your up front investment would be refunded.  Well, there was no time line on this obtainment of a modification and I missed that detail.  Not once was it alluded to that this could take a year or more.  Weeks would go by and I wouldn't hear a thing.  I'd leave voice messages and not get a return call.  When I finally did get ahold of someone they would tell me how close it was and I just needed to send in current pay stubs and bank statements.  This happened multiple times.  At one point I couldn't get anyone to call back for weeks and e-mails came back as undeliverable.  I finally got a call from someone I hadn't dealt with before and was told that those people were no longer with the company.  In July of this year I finally requested my money back and told them in an e-mail that I was going to file a complaint with the BBB, attorney general, and small claims court.  That triggered another call, once again asking for pay stubs and bank statements, along with telling me how close they were.  Twice, I received letters from my mortgage company telling me my request was denied which Jet Direct told me didn't mean anything and to ignore.  Well, today I'm waiting for the bank to accept a short sale offer as I can no longer keep up with this.  I again requested my refund from Jet Direct and was told that since I'm the one ending the effort the refund didn't apply.  SO, in my case the scam appears to be.. let the case go on forever.  Eventually, something in the debtors life will change that will require them to end the relationship and Jet Direct gets to keep the money.  I would highly recommend you DO NOT send your money to these guys.

    They are doing the same thing to us and this is terrible.Same scam...let the case go on forever.DO NOT trust them with your money.

    you need to contact the Attorney General and follow up that they do something so this does not happen to anyone else.

    I received a call from Ann Fallen who conviced me that they could modify my mortgage on an investment property.  I sent $1,500, plus $350 for the apprasal, with the agreement to pay 2% on the amount that would be deffered.  I started researching the different programs and found out that they were applying only to the primary resident and not to investment properties, so I called to request my money back, as I had signed an agreement that if the modification would not be approved, all money exept $500.00 would be refunded to me.  I asked to speak to a supervisor who called me all kinds of names and was trying to convince me that I was wrong and he also called me "stupid".  Up to this day I have not heard anything but I feel that I should not let them get away with this.
    What bothered me the most and made me research was that Ms. Fallen told me that under no circumstances I should talk to my lender about this.
    If any one has any suggestions of how to approch this, please advice.

    I paid $1500 + $350 for appraisal, upfront for loan modification, over 1 year ago. Got nothing for my time and money. Please do not deal with this co. Jet Direct Funding Corp. NY.

    i have been taken like so many others and that this so called company should have to pay for all the homes they have caused so many hard working folks to lose by there SCAM.

      Wow they are working with Joy Goldberg and Jay Garnock i lost $3700, and never received a letter from them? I believe yhey are running a scam since my tealtor turn out to be joy goldberg's Son mark gerber who runs a realtors office in orlando fl, name parkview realtor.
