I received a phone call from 888-797-8823 and they stated that they are collecting for an online loan company name Laser Lending. They have no contact information for them and a fake account number. Both females one Spanish and the other american (Amy) where rude and wanted to over talk me and rush through the information as made suggestions that I may have more than one payday loan when I have never had a payday loan. Amy claimed that it was last attempted contact from 2012 but the loan was way before then and she couldn't tell me when. REALLY [***]!!!!! I forwarded the information to my attorney and he hasn't found any information on them. What is listed for NP Group is a logic insurance nothing dealing with collections. I am so happy I have fraud alert on my credit. Look out for these people calling and lying....it is not true.

    Just got a voicemail from “Rebekkah” saying they were doing tracing efforts to locate “Marcy Moore” (unlike the rest of the message, this name was said with a computer voice).  (“Rebekkah’s” voice is harsh & raspy, sounds like a real person.)
      I don’t know anyone named Marcy Moore!  I thought it sounded suspect & unprofessional, so I looked up the # & noticed complaints of possible fraud/spam.
      “Rebekkah” asked me to return their call even if I have no information?!    I am blocking the number & won’t be calling back.

    Yeah my sister got the call for me. They have all my information. I was like what loan ?? I never have i ever made a loan especially been a single mother of three. I am scared of what's going on here. Can anyone tell me why i have open my credit score and is nowhere on my credit statement. HELP!!!!

    This happened to me yesterday and they had ALL my info. Even my current address and said I took a loan out and there was a debt that was collected for $520 and if I wanted to settle they would take $330. They said I was being sued by this online loan company and named off about 5-6 companies that it could've been through. Unfortunately I was driving and couldn't take any down but I def did not give them anything. "Chris" was a smooth talker and almost had me convinced but I'm not about to dish out any money before doing some investigating. Hope no one falls for this.

    This company is buying old debt to collect on. DO NOT PAY THEM ...CALL THE ORIGINAL CREDITOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I just got a call asking for my nephew. I have no clue how they got my number. He is in the military, so I looked up the number and was glad to find this post. Total scam. They won't get a call back from me. I've blocked them now.

    got a call just like K got, loud raspy voice left message saying something about tracing efforts and the name was computerized. I'm glad I looked here first.
