Complaint
Rick Hall
Country: United States
Here’s an email I received from a gmail account. No info on who they are or who they’re collecting for. They will not give me any straight forward answer. It’s been kinda entertaining battling it out with them!
No: -FTC-182-MYCNS-7292002
Balance Amount: $1385.50
(include penalty, interest rate, late payment charges
Settlement Amount: $934.00 for Today or two payments of $500.00 from Today.
Since, no payment was made, the amount is now considered overdue and we request you to make the payment. Please provide me with payment in full in next 15 business days and if you cannot come up with full we can set up payment arrangement. If I have not received your payment or reply in 15 business days, I have the right to enforce this order in Small Claims Court. If you do not believe you are liable for these amounts, you will have a right to present your defence in court.
If you want to resolve this matter without a lawsuit and further damaging your credit rating, you must email within 2 days of the date of this letter; either pay $934.00 by Today against the balance or two payment of $500.00 from Today you owe or email us and work out arrangements for payment with it $1385 If you do neither of these things we will refer this matter to an attorney to file a lawsuit against you for the collection of this debt
Being polite and humble collection agency it is our duty to inform you that if the payment is not made on time, then there are legal actions that can be taken against you. So, it would be better to avoid any such situation and make the payment before the due date.
Through Small Claims Court I have the right to request a payment hearing to find out information about your financial situation. I also have the right to apply to garnish money from your wages and bank accounts, hire a court bailiff to seize and sell your belongings, If there is any clarification you need in case of the payment to be made, then feel free to contact us anytime
I am hopeful that we can resolve this matter without going through Small Claims proceedings. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss payment options.
Thank you
