I am getting harrassing phone calls several times a day from a collection agenecy that are recorded without a live operator.  I wait on the line try to get a connection and no one is there.  I do not have any outstanding debt and have a very good credit record.

    This company has a history of complaints of repeatedly calling the wrong parties in their attempts to collect debts.

    First attempt to contact them through whatever number is in their recorded message.  If they are providing no contact number, or if that fails to get their erroneous calls to stop, then contact your state Attorney General for asistance in halting their abusive autodialer activity.

    i have called 6 different places trying to get in touch with allied interstate! the first number asked for my social before even asking for an account number! I have asked for recipt 6 times and everytime they tell me its alreday in the mail! well my address hasnt changed in 10 years so where is it at?! when i asked them to fax it to me today they told me they cant send recipts so i asked for a bill of my remaining balance and the guy tells me he has to ask his supervisor fist! they had no problem send 60 of them before why can't they send one to me now!?

    Communicate in writing by U.S. Mail, and if you don't get a response contact your state Attorney General for assistance.

    Failure to provide a statement of account may be an indication they are not properly crediting payments.  Alternatively, if you agreed to a settlement for less than full payment, they may have fraudulently sold off the remaining account balance despite your agreement.
