Hello, Again a just got a call about this... Asked me if i wanted to re-new my listing by Sigma National Yellow Pages, When I said no, they asked me to verify some info to cancelle and that i had an outstanding ballance for $589.00, they can take my credit card and pay the out-standing balance... I said send it to me, they wanted for me to verify my address, when i stated, if we have a contract then send me the invoice at witch time they cut the line... also it was from an unlisted number...pedro

File complaints against them with FTC and your state Attorney General, since their demand for payment you never agreed to is already a violation of law.
Do not believe any excerpts of any recording they may try to pass of as some "authorization" by you or an employee. Doctored recordings are common with this type of scam, and their tactics are well known to regulatory authorities, law enforcement, BBB, etc.
If they send you an "invoice" demanding payment for something you never agreed to (unlikely), file a complaint with the U.S. Postal Inspector for mail fraud.
Note how their $589 amount is just below the $600 UCC threshold for requiring a written agreement, consistent with the fraudulent appearance they are trying to create that there is some "verbal contract".
This fraud is about appearances, plausible deniability, and bluff.
