I cancelled my internet service with ATT cable, as they increased my bill by $80.00 bringing the total per month to $216.00. I called and told the rep that we could not afford an $80.00 increase as he stated we have two options "pay the bill or get another provider. So that's what we did and got a provider for $130.00 per month. Called to get direct TV disconnected and now they wanted to give us another package, we told them to stuff it as far as it will go. They did not want to talk about another package until we told them to cancel. I will never recommend them to anyone. We did not sign a contract and they told us we have to pay a cancellation fee, which I do not intend to pay. Plus I have to mail all the equipment back to them and pay for it myself, what a rip-off.

    If you have problems with them..
    charging you for fees they did not disclose up front, contact your state Attorney General for assistance, as it probably violates state fair business practice laws.
