Predatory Practices and Poor Customer Service (LIARS)

I am so firey made with DirecTV until it is ridiculous!!!  The problem first starts with the call center person that takes down your order and promises you one thing.  However, when the technician arrives to install your equipment, you get the opposite and sub-standard equipment.  Just to make things clear, we ordered the GENIE service for our home; the technician installed the regular equipment.  We even had to UPGRADE our package to the Choice Ultimate package to get all of the initial channels that we asked for.  Once again, when the initial customer service rep as us what channels we watched on a frequent basis, we told her specifically what they were.  She knew that 6 of our shows were NOT available with the Choice package and she should have suggested the Choice Ultimate package in the first place.
Next, our HD TVs are NEW!!!  Therefore, we should NOT BE HAVING A PROBLEM WITH NOTHING!!  But to the contrary, we are either losing our signal (4-5 times daily) and shows are freezing or just plain blacking out.
Thirdly, the initial tech has screwed up our Internet.  We have high speed Internet service through another company.  Now, because the technician put splitters on the Internet line (which he wasn't supposed to), and rerouted the wiring, the Internet speed is very, very slow.  This DirecTV has to correct as well.
And, to add insult to injury, the first technician muddied up my light-colored carpet and ceramic tiles with his "big" feet.  He also left hanging wires, nails and all sorts of trash and tidbits around.  This is NOT cool especially when there are small pets and children in my home.
We thought because we were referred to DirecTV it would be better than having lousy service with TimeWarner.  No, not really... Both companies are scammers with their AWFUL and substandard practices and customer service.
You better believe it that I will NEVER refer neither one of these companies to NOBODY!!!
