These people have been calling my retired dad saying he has won 1.5 million, a trip to Australia and mercedes Benz. they say they are coming to his house tomorrow the 6th to bring his check and money. I know this is fraud. He has already sent these people over $900 DOLLARS! He just told me about it last night talking bout Imma let you take the trip I won. Thats when I said what are you talking about. OMG!!! I wish he had told me about this before I would have saved him this money. He has sent walmart cards and western union money. Ive read on internet and told him UPS or FED EX may be there tomorrow as this is their way of asking for more money for "The taxes" OKAY we young know better but they are targeting the older cause they want to believe and just have the time to listen to this Dribble Garbage!!!!! How can they be Caught??? they are slick by asking for the western union and Prepaid cards. Please Help in MS we dont have money here and the elderly are trusting, while the younger generation and me are Skeptic. What can be legally done and can he get his money back?

You might try contacting UPS or Fed Ex to see if they can bounce the package back to you before delivery, due to fraud.
File fraud complaints with FTC, for all it is worth.
They typically try to con you into believing you "won", then say you have to pay "fees", "taxes", or "insurance" to get your "winnings".
The money you pay is real.
The money you "win" isn't.
Large international corporations don't run "lotteries", picking someone somewhere in the world to send money to.
Scammers just use their names because they are well recognized. They steal their reputation to steal your money.
