Terrible extended service plan

This is about Whirlpool's Extended service plan. So far, it's terrible. I've now talked with 5 people over the past week about fixing my dishwasher. Every person says I will be contacted by a service provider and nothing happens. Every person is nice. I'm nice too. No shouting. But no service, either.
By the way, I bought my plan from Kitchen Aid (my dishwasher is KitchenAid), but KitchenAid apparently just contracts with Whirlpool. So the old KitchenAid brand ain't what it used to be (obviously, since the 4-year-old dishwasher broke).
On a scale of 1 to 10, I give them a 10 for nice, but a 1 for actual help.
