On July 22 I experienced a problem with my Whirlpool washer which was purchased in June of 202 and has been checked and repaired twice for improper spinning and water extraction. We have an extended service plan agreement. Our problem was reported on July 23 and was told I could not get a service call until August 1. from A&E Service.Over a week! On Aug. 1 a service call was made and the problem was diagnosed as a transmission replacement plus other parts. The parts arrived on August 2. A&E services  did not arrive until August 8. I pleaded with them and the service company, I even called the Whirlpool Corporation. to no avail!!!! It took 2 1/2 weeks for A&E to fix my machine! Outrageous!!

I since found out that A&E is a national organization that has contracts with Whirlpool and other major corporations. I DO NOT recommend this dis-service group. What was not explained to me is that I could have contacted an authorized Whirlpool Service, paid the bill and it would have been reimbursed by the extended service plan . This would have had my washer fixed in days vs. weeks,by a local dealer.

This was a major frustration----be wary!!!!

BUYER BEWARE!!!! I wanted to extend my service warranties. They were pushing us to pay for 4 years which is over $400. Luckliy we called them up, being that we live fulltime in a RV, recreational vehicles will are not covered. It is not in their contract but they still won't cover even though we got the letter that we are covered. If you give them the money already you will not get it back.

    Silly comment
So, what should people do, leave their broken dishwasher alone and not fix it?  Stupid comment...

They weren't even talking about dishwashers. They were talking about WASHERS, as in WASH YOUR CLOTHES. & Yeah, sinks do work but I'm sure if you paid money for a dishwasher you'd want it to run correctly.

Unfortunately my warranty company uses A&E service group for warranty repair work. Repair visit was scheduled 8-12 time slot. 12 came and went, no call no nothing. Call to warranty company, they call A&E oh he is behind and will be there 12-2. Again sit here, luckily I work at home, but I did have errands to run. 2 no show no call. Again call warranty company and A&E of course apologies from A&E which did not help. Finally at 3:45, the technician calls. He asks my address, really is it not on your sheet. It does not pull up in his GPS. We have lived here 6years. Maybe if A&E would spring for updated GPS their technicians could find their way around. Then he tells me he will need serial # and order a part. SERIOUSLY!!!!!! I could have done that 2 days ago. Oh well, so much for my frustration level today!!!!!
A&E is not a customer oriented service provider.

At least A&E showed up.  Took off work from 12-5 the other day.  No one showed up, one one called.  When I called the customer service number, I was told their technician was out of the field for the day and they would reschedule me for ONE WEEK LATER.  Well, it's one week later and STILL NO ONE HAS SHOWN UP OR CALLED.  Going to demand my money back from the person that sold me the extended warranty on my washing machine that is just 2 years old............
