scaming phone calls

I have received numerous phone calls this last week from Them and they told me I was up for a chance of winning 5.000 dollars knew my date of birth phone number and address and asked me if I would rather use visa or Master card when I purchase something.I did not relay any private information but they keep trying to call and I will not answer my phone.
