I recently purchased my first pair of red wing boots, I have never paid over $100 for a pair of boots but I've always heard red wing boots are very comfortable and durable and well worth the money so I decided to give them a try and laid out $175 for a pair and man am I pissed, I never thought to check where the boots were made because I figured all red wing boots were made in the usa but after having them for about 2 months I noticed the made in china label and then realized why these are by far the most uncomfortable boots I have ever owned, I can only wear them for about 2 hours at a time and then I have to switch back to my old boots, I've had them for 8 months now and was hoping they would eventually break in and feel better on my feet but i've pretty much given up on that dream and will probably just throw them in the trash where they belong and I will be telling every person I know in the future that red wing boots suck!!!!!!!........THANKS FOR RIPPING ME OFF RED WING BOOTS

    Yes.

My proble with the last two pairs I’ve purchased, has not been a matter of comfort, but a matter of durability..

I won’t be purchasing any more Red Wing Boots, thank you..

They’ve destroyed the quality of the name, “Red Wing” by cheaping out on the construction and materials used in manufacturing.

I’ll be purchasing other makes from now on too.
