I have read these complaints and  it's the same thing happening to me right now.  No one will give me an answer and the ones that do answer tell me Im not in their system.  I think Wal-Mart must be in business with TRS collection and they are fishing for people hoping they have collection accounts so they can collect and get their percentage.  I'm up for a law suit if anyone starts one, count me in.

    Target, Kohl's, there are other companies who want your business.

    TRS Recovery..
    TRS Recovery handles bad check collection for WalMart and other retailers.  They and their sister company, Telecheck, are both part of First Data.

    Telecheck maintains information on consumers, particularly on bounced checks, which is used by companies including banks to decide whether to accept checks or open checking accounts.  Contact Telecheck and request a copy of your file.  It should be free.  Check it for errors, and dispute any errors you find.

    In addition to bad check collection..
    TRS may be maintaining information on numbers of returns by consumers, to flag consumers who may be returning a lot of goods, which may be a fraud indicator.  Or maybe it's Telecheck that is maintaining the information, and TRS reports to, then points the finger at Telecheck. See if you can find out.
