Product recall

Maytag recalled my refrigerator because they deem it to "pose a serious fire hazard". I called them as instructed. They said they would send out a third party repair company to fix it. The repair company did not turn up. I rescheduled. Again they did not turn up. I called the third party repair company. They said they had "no record" of the appointment in their system, and refused to give me another appointment time because they were "too busy". I called Maytag to complain. They passed the job on to another third party repair company. The appointment has been now been scheduled but they are refusing to give me any time. They say they will call "to let me know". The second company wanted to charge me for the repair, so I had to make several further calls just to establish that the repair would be free of charge. Very frustrating.
