Cracked lid for 2nd time after having it replaced at an exorbitant cost

Really....have been told several times there was no problem with the lid on this machine it is obviously a malenginerred product...I don't think this constitutes a warranty issue as it was not constructed right to begin with and anyone can see that and why it is cracking (breaking) for the second time. The contact person was also rude I am insulted by being treated that way. Whirlpool needs to stand behind it's issues or I guess we can all purchase elsewhere next time...thank goodness for the internet..and yes you are welcome to come witness my issue for the second time...oh yeah the top of the lid is to heavy for the cheap plastic surroundings and I'm not an engineer but I do have a masters degree!
