Country: United States
Received a call from a man stating that I had been approved for medical insurance when I asked where they got my information reported on the internet. They quoted me an unbelieveable monthly rate. However when I asked if they would send me the information via e mail they refused. I asked for their number and was given it. I asked for hours of operation and then we were disconnected. They wnated a enrollment fee.

With the Do Not Call laws, most of them are scams.
This particular scam appears to be a typical "medical discount" scam, selling some fake "medical discount plan" that no medical provider or pharmacy actually accepts, but charging probably around $300 to $500 in up front fees. They are often run from fraudulent telemarketing call centers in Montreal Canada.
Watch your bank statements closely, because some of these have been reported to illegally purchase consumer account information, and only be calling to fabricate faked "agreement" recordings. You might find fraudulent charges even if you never disclosed your account information.
If you find ANY frauduelnt charges, always immediately contact your bank to dispute the charges as fraudulent, and close the account or block the card number to prevent additional fraud. Make sure your bank handles your dispute as a FRAUD dispute, not a "billing dispute. And insist on sending in a signed fraud affidavit.
