    Contact your local police..

Contact your local police department, file an identity theft complaint including the information on the fraudulent account, and get a copy of the police report.  Then dispute the fraudulent account with Verizon.  Contact Verizon's fraud department, and send them a notification that the account is fraudulent, sending them a copy of the police report.

Contact the CRAs.. replies to Contact your local police..
Since your identity has been stolen, send a dispute to the CRA, disputing the Verizon entry as fraudulent, including a copy of the police report.  In addition, place a fraud alert on your credit file with the CRA.  They will notify the other CRAs to also place a fraud alert, which is good for 90 days.  Since you've disputed errors due to identity fraud, you are entitled to free credit reports from each of the CRAs (separate from your free annual reports) to check for errors.

    If you have problems..

If you run into problems with either Verizon or any CRA removing the fraudulent account, or attempts to continue to collect (demands for payment) from Verizon or a collection agency, find a consumer attorney, since you may be able to sue for violations of FDCPA or FCRA/FACTA.  FACTA places specific deadlines for responding to and removing fraudulent entries, with penalties for failure.  The possibility of a lawsuit can make a big difference in the importance to other companies of correcting damaging credit report information.
