A little story about my experience with Direct Tv.

My story starts when I signed up with Direct TV and they offered me free NFL Sunday ticket.  I told them that I was not a football fan and had no interest, they told me that I would not be billed for it and it would be removed.  After a couple of months I realize that it is still on my account and I called back to have it removed.  After being transferred several time I was finally told it had been removed.  I sign up for direct pay and paperless billing so I did not notice that they had put it back on my account for the start of the following NFL season.  After a few billing cycles I realize that they had been charging me for it and I call them to have it removed.  I was bounced around to several different people and was told they would remove it and credit me back for two of the months that were charged.  I waited about a month and it was never taken off my bill so I called back.  This time I spent TWO HOURS being transferred to SIX different people.  The first person told me they would credit it back right away and he apologized for the mix up.  The second, third, fourth and fifth person informed me that because the season already started it could not be removed and I would have to pay in full.  After asking to be transferred to the cancelation department so I can cancel my service all together the final person promised me that they would credit my bill with $25 if I did not cancel.  It has been two months and I am in the process of selecting another provider but I have kept their service for two months and they never even gave me the $25.

Direct TV has hands down the worst customer service I have ever received from any company or service in my life.  This is only one of my multiple horror stories about dealing with Direct TV and I urge anyone that will listen to not use their service.
