daily unwanted calls

I'm on the Do Not Call list - which they apparently use as a call list. I've explained my husband and I are just out of the hospital with really serious illness. I'm suppose to rest, since I have congestive heart failure. Everytime I put my head down, they call. It doesn't mater that I'm sick, or that my mother is dying and I want the phone to be doctors or nursing home/family only. These people are the scum of the earth and should be in prison.  I raised three kids by myself without ever resorting to cold calling people.  Why can't they be stopped?
