Posted on Craigslist trying up sell a van. Sent me lots of pictures of a too good to be true deal on a van. Said her husband died and she was training to go over seas with a military medical unit and needed to sell it quick.
How gullible do they think people are.

Posted on Offer up trying up sell a:

My name is Jennifer, and I'm emailing you about 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe z71 with an gasoline engine, automatic transmission and only 81,799 mileage. Never had or need any paint/body work done, garaged keep always, without any mechanical problems, tires and wheels are in great shape as well, electric is working perfectly. The engine 5,3L runs very good and the automatic transmission shifts perfectly. Has a clean and clear title in my name and there are no liens or loans on it. This suv was used by my husband who died 4 month ago. The price was reduced at $800 because I'm in a hurry to find a buyer. I need to sell the suv before the 20 of the next month, when I will be leaving on military duty with my medical team out of the country for a year and do not want to store my suv. Hate to sell it but its not worth keeping insurance and paying storage fees for a year. If you are interested I can send you pics.

She now move to try to send money through eBay and she send fake invoices from eBay. All watch out, eBay invoices are fake and she is just trying to get people to send her or him money. Do not do it, all is a scam.

      Check this out
As I've told you in my first e-mail, I'm in the army with my military medical team and right now I am in a military base. We are training, getting ready for leaving the country. Before leaving I had prearranged the deal with eBay services so my presence isn't necessary. The delivery process will be managed by me. I think I can have it there at your home address within 2-3 working days. It will come with a clear title and reg and everything is working perfectly. You will have 5 days to test and inspect the car prior to making any purchase. During that 5 days testing period I will not be getting any money. I need to know if you are interested so I can ask eBay to send you the details on this deal. If interested please include in your next email your contact info for eBay (full name, shipping address and phone number), so we can get the ball rolling.

God Bless you and your family.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

They advise you to report it to eBay. Check eBay gift card scam. If you call right away sometimes they can freeze the cards. That’s what they did to me when I went to eBay for my third round of $1000 worth of eBay cards and I was advised not to do transitions this way that they have to be done through PayPal to be safe. Report it to the FTC and good luck!

Only scammers will ask you to buy gift cards for payment.  And eBay will not have anything to do with sales outside of their site (on craigslist, OfferUp, Facebook, etc.)
