A common lie with these scammers - they pretend to be recent widows, saying the vehicle "brings bad memories." They use excuses to avoid any face-to-face interaction (because they're in another country) - the most common being "in the military and about to be deployed/transferred." And the scammer will insist on "eBay buyer protection" which is as fake as the vehicle they're pretending to sell.
BrendCox@gmail.com is another email associated with trailer sales scam.

Posting scam. Mostly horse trailers on Eugene Craigslist under linda@applin.business or BrendCox@gmail.com . Do not fall for it. No nice trailer costs $1000. You can get more than that on a Payday loan or at a trailer dealer for cash. Do not give this scammer ANY information or contact them. If you do, you will regret it.

Wow! Glad I found these reviews! Was about to buy a trailer from linda@applin.business
Glad you didn't fall for the scam! If a craigslist ad asks you to reply to a Gmail address, or an email from a sketchy domain with no website, it's bound to be fake.
