I was an idiot and decided to try a free trial of pomclear.  They never mentioned the $85.00 that would be charged to your account immediately.  They advertise that this is a free trial.  I was in the hospital when it was delivered and didn't open it for 4 weeks.  Unfortunately, they refuse to do anything about it.  Not to mention I was on hold for 1 hour and 26 minutes to talk to someone.  When I explained my situation, they were rude and informed me they would blacklist me for purchasing anything further online.  Lesson learned.....keep your credit card info off the web, and read the smallest of print.

Most of these "free trial" "health product" offers are scams.  They couldn't make any money just off of "free trials", and the products aren't so thrilling they generate a lot of return business.

They defrauded you.  You were never intended to find any small print, or they would have put those terms in the same font as your order, and at the same place.  That is just an excuse to keep them out of jail.  FTC and several state AGs have gone after a number of these scammers for doing exactly the same thing.

Here is one such legal action currently underway against a similar scammer.

They failed to respond to over a third of their complaints.

Who cares if they "blacklist" you.  That's just B.S., and the fact they had that response ready shows you they get a lot of calls like yours.  There is no legal way to "blacklist" consumers from making on-line purchases from other companies.  You don't want to do business with them anyway.

Since their charge was unauthorized, immediately contact your bank to dispute the fraudulent charge and close the account to prevent future fraudulent charges.  Follow up with a WRITTEN DISPUTE sent to the dispute address indicated on your bank statement.  Indicate that you were fraudulently charged, and include an appropriate excerpt from the BBB report to show that they have engaged in this pattern of business with others.  Send this certified return receipt requested, for proof of when it is received by your bank, since they must receive disputes within 60 days of the statement date of the disputed charge to invoke your FRB Reg. E (checking account electronic transfers), or FCBA (credit card charges), dispute rights.

File complaints with FTC, your state AG, the AZ AG, and BBB.
