This was the worst experience of my life.  I should have been more cautious.  I suspected trouble when I was treated rudely by the owner, Kristen.  But I was in a hurry and in need to find a few days stay for my dog and favorite companion, Skipper as I had to quickly go out of town when my mom became sick.  I left Skipper with Fetch for only a few days, but when I returned, she shook incessantly.  This company must have done something to her.  She shook for days, even though my vet gave me tranquilizers for her.  To this day she is not the same.  Beware!!  You’re best friend may be in danger!  Don’t let the dog happy dog photos on the site fool you.

    Franchisee for a bit longer
Im sure the happy franchisees are the ones making money.period.
and just because you are not making money does not mean you havent done as much as someone who is. I for one feel i have done everything possible to survive and thrive..and its just not happening. I dont care for Paul Mann and the system he sold us as it just does not work. If it does for some at the moment..its just a matter of time before it wont. Paul Mann is a thief.

    Fetch Owner
This is bogus.  How can you speak for all Fetch locations?  They are all around the nation and operated independently.  So, what area are you speaking of?

    Satisfied Client
I have ahad a wonderful experience with Fetch!  My sitters have always been reliable, caring and go above and beyond.  I would never leave my pets with someone as you describe.  I have had horrible experiences with other compnaies and fetch has been a life saver

FETCH! Pet Care is a terrific company of people who took amazing care of my cat while I was away.  When I came home my cat was much more calm than she normally is after I leave for some time, so I know that she received the kind of warm attention that she is used to

I have been extremely happy with the service that we have received from Fetch and we are happy to provide any positive references that you may need.  Truly having Ken come over has been a Godsend. We never could have been good pet owners without his help.

It just depends on the franchise owner. I used Fetch-Seattle for many years, and got excellent service 100% of the time. They recently gave up part of their territory to another franchise owner operating as Fetch-Kirkland/N. Lynnwood, and our 1 experience was a nightmare. Short story is that our dog's water bowl had not been cleaned out by the sitter, he got dysentery, made a mess from our M Bedroom, down the hall, through the living room and dining room... and the sitter decided it was "a bit of an upset stomach." We came home after a week to stained carpets, and awful stench, and a quite ill dog. The franchise owner's response? "Well, we do what we can. Sometimes dogs get a little nervous and it upsets their stomach." The sitter also left a mess herself, ruined a wooden table by not using the coaster that was on it, and medicated our dog's upset stomach with Prozac. I couldn't believe it when the owner blamed us.

I used their service here in the north Denver Metro area and so far they were prompt & professional.  My other dogs were fine when I got home and the puppy hadn't messed in her crate meaning she was let out around the scheduled time.  I think the fact that its a national franchise business model means there can be great variance in quality depending on locale.  Felicia Quintana is the owner of this franchise and I would give her & her employees a positive review thus far.  Sorry to hear about your experience.

I am the Kristin who was co-owner of the Herndon franchise from May 2009-August 2010. The address listed is my previous home address, as it was the home office for the franchise. In the year that I was involved with the Herndon franchise, we never had a client with the first name of Peter, nor a client pet named Skipper. I don't know why someone would decide to post malicious false hoods, but there you have it.

I started as a pet sitter in a MD franchise, and enjoyed it, but wasn't making much money, even with another job (it's very expensive living in the DC area). A friend and I decided to open the Herndon franchise together. Shortly before I accepted a buy-out offer, we were contacted by a representative from FETCH! asking if we wanted to settle, because our franchise was sold to us illegally. My partner wanted to stay, I was having reservations, she offered me a buy-out, and I walked away.

I have been a pet owner and pet lover my entire life. I have worked with animals in a number of different capacities. It hurt very much to see that someone decided to smear my name and reputation.
