The credit reporting agency may have erroneously attributed someone else's judgement to you.  Alternatively, Midland may have sued someone with a similar name, but there is a risk that they will attempt to collect the judgement from you.  They may even have sued you, over someone else's debt, failing to serve you with notice of the suit.  That would be a reason to vacate the judgement.

Send a letter to the credit reporting agency, certified, disputing the debt.  This is necessary to establish liability for erroneous credit reporting, either to Midland or to the credit reporting agency.

Then contact an attorney with experience in FCRA and FDCPA litigation.  Both laws allow courts to award attorney fees should you win.
