A few days before I got an email from this email ID (S-A-M <sammincn@lycos.com) informing me about winning of 500thousand pounds plus samsung laptop and two mobile phones as my email was selected by British Samsung Awards. I have been asked to contact samsungmegaclaims@outlook.com for further details. Kindly suggest what to do.

You know it's a scam, and if you contact them, they will probably try to con you out of your own money for "fees" or "taxes", so why waste your time. Not likely any authorities will waste their time with these scams, either.
