In late February I ordered some beads, several charms, and a clasp
totaling a little over $10 and payed with Pay-Pal. I received the
charms in about a week. The website says that items on back order will
be shipped within 2 weeks. I waited. Nothing.

It is now mid-July. I have sent many e-mails asking for information. In on April 25, I was told that the beads would ship 4/25 and the rest would mail 5/2. I waited. Nothing. After several more e-mails I was tol on May 25 that the items were still out of stock (out of stock for 3 months?) and were expected in on 6/6. I waited. I e-mailed on 6/7 asking for the status. I have not heard anything. I have requested my money back several times. I am getting no response, no merchandise, and no refund.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

    I am horrified, but admittedly slightly relieved that I am not the only one who shares your experience. i only wish I had googled the company before placing a $468 order with them. My order was placed 27th April, I am still waiting for $90 worth and I've had to pay $60 customs charges on packages I've received (i'm in the Uk) becasue they lie on the shipment and said it was worth more than $300 - only about $100 was in that shipment. DO NOT SHOP WITH THIS COMPANY.

    i also placed an order with this company in november of 2007. i did receive some of the items but many were not received. they conveniently do not have a telephone number & their "live chat" is never functioning. initially i got a response stating that if i checked my account on the website i could see updates. funny thing is the website no longer recongnizes my account info. a tele number i did find online is now disconnected and another site that is for beading type stores in the greenbay area states that their physical store is close but the website is up. not a good sign at all. due to these findings  and my experience i cannot recommend buying from these guys you are taking a risk.

    a follow up:
    everyone who has rec'd a partial order or no order should do the following:
    contact your credit card company and dispute the charges.
    first, they charged my card for the entire order, even tho they only sent a portion of it. they can not do that.they can only charge for what you received.
    since they do not want to respond to emails, disconnect their phone and virtually play the "disappearing" act here's how to get back at them:
    dispute the entire charge if they haven't sent you anything. if you rec'd some: dispute 90% of what you rec'd. that way they will have to come back and try to determine what they actually sent you. by doing so they will be forced to admit they did not sent you a portion. then once they admit to what they didn't send  you - as long as it agrees with you, tell them not to send the items and have your credit card company deny that portion of the total. either way you win and aren't paying for items you don't have.
    please understand i am not for scamming a business having a difficult time. people try to open a bus and sometimes it just doesn't work out. BUT you have to take care of business and be honest. only sell what you have, refund folks for items you don't, respond when buyers want to know what is going on etc. in this case they deserve a bit of aggravation from us buyers. i simply do not feel sorry for them due to the way they handled my doing bus with them

    I also placed 2 orders in Nov. 2007 and received a partial shipment on both.  Oddly enough I received a credit when I complained on 1 order.  On the other 1 I am still trying to recoup and am bombarding them with old emails in which they said they would "look into it."  They collected from my credit card so I'm stuck - fortunately its not a "large" amount.  Its the principle of the dang thing at this point.  I will continue to let them know on maybe a daily basis they are basically thieves.  And, yeah, we should all goggle every outfit we order from to be safe.  Live and learn.

    I have had a similar exerience. I am basicly out $50.00 The worst service ever, but I am convinced now after looking at these complaints it is on purpose. I am going to place a complaint here and suggest you do to.

    I am looking for ways to let people know not to so business with Beads and charms.  I think they are scammers.  If you get any merchandise you are lucky. You almost always get part of an order and if you are lucky months later you may receive some of the rest of you order.  Never have I gotton everything I have ordered.  I do not how they get repeatr business or stay in business.  I guess it is all new customers who slowely find out and  become x customers.

    I placed an order in July and they charged my account 2 days later. My order never arrived. I contacted them through their website several times. There is no email address from their site. I found an email address from their order confirmation. I emailed that. I found a phone number on their website and could only leave a message. I found another phone number on my account statement; I called that and could only leave a message. I finally reported them to my financial institution and they returned my money. DO NO ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! They are FRAUDS!!!!

    I placed a $600 order March 1st and paid $60 for 3 day express shipping!  I ordered 450 charms.  After about a week I received 14 charms!  I couldn't believe it.  I have been calling and emailing for 3 weeks straight with no reply.  I finally just contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges!  Never again!

    February 14, 2016 I placed an order on-line with Beads and Charms. I immediately received an order confirmation number and my credit card was charged. The items I ordered were in-stock and the company says “in-stock items are shipped within 4 business days”.  On or about February 25, 2016 when I had not received my items and noticed the company had never updated the status from “payment received”, and realized I could no longer access my account with them I e-mailed through their website, I emailed to debbie@beadsandcharms.com, and I called their phone number listed on BBB website, and contacted them through PayPal to inquire of my order status.  The response I received through PayPal on 2/26/2016 20:39 PST - Dear Robin, I am not sure why you can't get into your account. I will check the login info as well on the status asap!  They refused to contact me after that and I had to file a dispute through PayPal.  They finally refunded my money on February 29, 2016 after numerous attempts to get an answer from them.  I finally said I was reporting them to the Attorney General and suddenly my order was canceled and a refund was issued to PayPal.  I found this alternate phone number for them online where I also left messages (920) 412-4732.  They falsely advertise on their website...”Company Policy… All items that are in stock will ship within 4 business days.”

    I have been ordering from this company for a few years and while they are usually slow to ship, I always got my order within a few weeks. The last order I placed on 4/28/2016 has still not shipped (it is now June) and they will not respond to any emails.  I will dispute it on my credit card to hopefully get my money back.  I do not recommend this company.
